James Hopkinson-Wooley

Profile

I qualified from St. Thomas’s Hospital in 1989 and had surgical training in Oxford and London before moving to Cambridge for Orthopaedic training in East Anglia.  I returned to Oxford for specialist training in Hand Surgery and was first appointed to a consultant post in the year 2000.  I was appointed to the staff at Addenbrooke’s Hospital as a Consultant Hand Surgeon in 2005.

I have research papers published on wound healing, scaphoid fractures and carpal tunnel syndrome surgery.

I am on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council and am a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.  I am also a Fellow of the British Orthopaedic Association and Member of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand.
